Classes

Hatha Yoga

This hour-long class emphasizes breath, mind, movement creating space for students to have an awareness of the synergy between these elements of our being. The focus is on keeping the mind connected to the breath and movement throughout the practice. Hatha yoga uses postures (asanas), breathing techniques(pranayama), and meditation techniques(dyana) with the goal of healing and positive well-being. The asanas work together to make the spine supple, the core strong, and to promote circulation in the organs, glands, and tissues. The postures strengthen and stretch the body, creating space, balance, and flexibility.

Classes are offered at personal residences, at pop-up locations as announced, and in Debbie's home studio.

Deep Rest & Restore Yoga

This hour-long class guides students through gentle stretches and deep relaxation poses while emphasizing the ability to surrender and let go. Students will engage in simple floor postures with long holds using the support of blocks, blankets, and bolsters. Take an hour to connect the mind, breath, and body, and find your inner sanctuary.

Classes are offered at personal residences, at pop-up locations as announced, and at Debbie's home studio.

Teaching Style

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 18 years. My practice has helped me grow physically and spiritually and I’ve become more flexible on and off the mat. Yoga has inspired me to be more present and to live more mindfully.

I have many influences that have shaped my teaching style. These include local teachers, senior teachers, and training in Hatha and Restorative yoga.

My classes infuse traditional yoga poses with elements of mindful meditation. I emphasize reflective body-awareness through movement and stillness. Community is at the heart of my classes and I welcome all levels of practitioners to my classes, including students who are new to yoga.

I hope that I see you in one of my classes and I wish that you leave it feeling more open, more spacious, and more connected to your body!

Please note: Classes are offered at pop-up locations in parks, and local neighborhoods, and well-attended yards in Loveland CO and at personal residences.
